Perez FamilyPortrait + Engagement Session

This photography session was extra special, because not only was it a family shoot, it was also an engagement session! Gabby loves the woodsy vibe, so we decided on Martin Park Nature Center in Oklahoma City for our location. Gabby and Michael are getting married next March and wanted some “save-the-date” contenders. They also have an amazing, smart 3-year-old named Londyn who kept me laughing the ENTIRE evening together. This girl is as sassy as she is beautiful! I think we nailed both goals for this session. When you are working with a family this good-looking, it’s pretty easy. 😉

Finley | 5 Days NewNewborn Session

Sweet baby Finley graced my newborn studio at 5 days old with first-time parents Crystal and Malcolm. I have been great friends with mom and dad for many years, so this was a special session for me to do. Finley was very comfortable with me and snoozed the majority of her photo shoot. She even gave me some adorable smiles (sooooo cute)!! I can’t wait to watch this pretty girl grow up and catch all of her special milestones. ?

Vivian | 5 Days NewNewborn Session

Sweet Vivian came into this world on March 20th and her gender was a surprise to mom and dad (and me!). She graced my newborn studio at 5 days new. Vivian has beautiful skin and a full head of hair. She really wanted to stay awake and chat with us for awhile. Eventually, I got baby girl to sleep with the swaddle (works like a charm!) so we could get those adorable sleeping shots in. As you can see, she is quite the lovely little lady!!

Mallory + NathanMaternity Session

This maternity shoot was a special one, because Mallory and Nathan have been trying for almost 7 years to get pregnant. I was humbled she asked me to take her maternity pictures to say the least. We decided on Bluff Creek and planned to have a petite session. I had so much fun with these sweet souls that I couldn’t stop shooting, so now it’s a full session! 😉 As you can see from these images, there were a lot of jokes being tossed around and tons of laughter. If you are “high-fiveing” at the end of your session- you are alright with me. I love the shoots that are this much fun!

KorbynPortrait Session

I was asked by one of my amazing photographer friends, Ashley, to join her and a small group of women for a “fun shoot” at Martin Nature Park in Oklahoma City this past February. One of the models was the beautiful Korbyn Newsom of Korbyn Skye Photography. She was as sweet as can be and so easy to work with. It was fun for me to get out there and chit chat with other girl bosses. Even in the dead of winter, you can take gorgeous images!

Drew + MoriahPortrait Session

This is the sweetest session for a few reasons. Drew contacted me requesting a holiday session as a gift for his girlfriend, Moriah. She has never had any professional photos taken of her and her adorable son. I really wanted to make this special for the both of them, as I was really touched by this selfless gesture. The only day that worked out for everyone’s schedule was an afternoon with a BRISK temperature of 35 degrees. It was easily the coldest day I’ve ever attempted an outdoor photography session on. Drew also brought his amazing daughter along to snap some shots with. Those poor babies were popsicles within the first 10 minutes. We bundled them up the best we could and shot fast. Considering the circumstances, this session came out so, so darling. I was honored he chose me to do this for her and hope we can get another chance when the weather warms again! ❤

Smith FamilyPortrait Session

We couldn’t have guessed when this family contacted me for holiday portraits that the day we chose was going to have such bad weather. Mom and I were both hoping that the weatherman would be wrong, but alas, the rain came. Because both of our schedules were so packed, we decided to go for it! We started the portraits in the Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City. It is gorgeous inside, but is hard to be creative in such a tight space. Toward the end of the session, I decided to take everyone outside to get some last minute shots, rain and all. The kids were super sweet and didn’t complain, not once. Everyone looked so beautiful and stylish and were great sports about the whole day. I’m glad they trusted me to capture these images for them (even though they ended up wet)! 🙂
